Alvin Greene is the come from no where Democratic Senatorial candidate running against incumbent Senator Jim DeMint for a seat in South Carolina. Greene has already won the Democratic primary and is the official Democratic candidate for the seat. He has also been recently indited on felony charges for disseminating, procuring or promoting obscenity. The South Carolina Democratic party has asked him to step down, but he says he staying in. This is the best candidate the democrats could come up with in South Carolina.
